The print magazine, as an open book. Drag a page corner, click an edge, or use the arrows to turn the page.
On a phone? This book is the print edition — the pages are pictures, so the type runs tiny on a small screen. For the high-resolution edition, check us out on a desktop: mouse scroll and the full layout, big and crisp. Right here on mobile, the GUIDE button up top opens the phone edition — same listings, set in real text.
This TV never stops broadcasting. Each channel is a loop of classic tapes anchored to a schedule, so your set computes the current tape and second from the clock — everyone watching sees the same frame. Changing channels just re-tunes the math.
| SPACE | Power on / off |
| 0 – 9 | Dial a channel number (1 = TV Guide), ENTER to tune |
| CH 101 – 103 | Music videos: 70s (101), 80s (102), 90s (103) — shuffled YouTube playlists, back to back. No schedule: each set is at its own point in the pool, and the readout names the video playing |
| CH 60 | Pilot Oddities: lost pilots & forgotten sitcoms on a fixed 28-day broadcast cycle, with 90's commercials spliced into every break — the guide lists each show as one block, commercials included |
| ↑ / → | Next channel |
| ↓ / ← | Previous channel |
| L / LAST | Flip back to the previous channel — press again to flip back |
| RABBIT EARS | Drag either ear sideways or tap an ear — both ears swing together from their hidden pivot behind the set — or focus the ears and use ← / →: four stepped poses. Every channel change picks a new sweet spot at random, so fiddle until the snow clears. Channel 1 always comes in clean |
| − / + | Volume down / up |
| M | Mute / unmute — every channel, until pressed again |
| B | Black & white on / off |
| FULL SCREEN | On a phone, tap the FULL SCREEN button on the TV's panel, or just tilt the phone sideways: landscape layout + fullscreen (hides the status bar) — tap FULL SCREEN again, or tilt back, for portrait. If a TAP FOR FULLSCREEN button appears, tap it to finish entering fullscreen. Sideways, the tube shrinks to fit the picture and a compact channel keypad and an antenna thumb wheel are built into the cabinet beside it — the wheel tunes the antennas, which are hidden in this layout |
| GUIDE | The print magazine as an open book. On a phone it opens full-screen: the guide set in real text — scroll down through the week, and the DAYS button jumps straight to a day; the ✕ closes it. On desktop the book lives at the bottom of this page. |
| H | This help screen |
| ESC | Close help |
The knobs and buttons on the TV itself work too — click the channel knob to surf, the volume knob to crank it. Channel 1 is the TV Guide: the listings scroll on their own — or drag them with a finger or mouse, roll the wheel over them, or focus the listings and use the arrow keys; the scroll pauses while you browse and resumes a few seconds later. On a desktop screen — and in the landscape layout — the panel trades its CH/VOL buttons for two big rotary dials: drag a dial in a circle, scroll over it, tap its top or bottom half, or focus it and use the arrow keys.
